I first felt hesitant about approaching the Dunedin Curtain Bank. After all, I already had curtains in my small rental room. Yet, it was still cold. Was it because I lived in an old villa in a room with a high ceiling and seven windows? Sara kindly explained that the wooden curtain rods I was using were inefficient because they let cold air leak into the room not to mention my curtains were unlined. Moreover, the position of the curtains was incorrect. All of these factors contributed to having a cold room.

The Dunedin Curtain Bank replaced the rods with rails and extended and lined the curtains. Thanks to Coresse, Jill, Steve and others, the workmanship was of exceptional quality. Thanks to the MenzShed guys, the rails were installed and curtains hung in the correct position. Voila! A much warmer room and healthier life! I am ever so grateful to the Dunedin Curtain Bank.
